Story And Details
The title is "Avery's Gore" and it's 400 pages long about a history professor in the early 1950's who discovers the last gore (3000 acre wedge-shaped piece of land resulting from surveying error in the 17th century) in Vermont, and discovers that the descendants of the last battle of the French and Indian War are still living there undetected.
