Learn a language I never thought I was interested in
"This just seems like a neat challenge. Everyone is used to the Spanish and French, but what about Swahili? As a Black woman, I think it would be powerful to learn a language that connects me to some root in Africa. So I have decided its either Swahili or Italian. "

Had to restart my Italian lessons thanks to grad school, but that will be over in 2 weeks and I will have a wonderful cruise on tap next. Hopefully by that time I know a few more phrases and will be able to at least start a conversation with some people there.
