The main use of data acquisition systems is to take samples, record, store and to further analyze real time data. The recorded data is then taken from these systems then fed into a proper computing device and is further stored to carry out analysis at a future point of time.

In the market, you will be able to find different types of data recording equipment designed and offered for varied purpose. Data acquisition is often connected with data logging, however each of this is different from others and serve different purpose as well. Both are used interchangeably to a great extent. How Data Acquisition And Pitot Static Tester Can Work?

1. Pitot Static Tester

The Pitot test unit is usually used to verify the instrumentation of some data and it can do the interconnection of the different system.

To measure the airspeed, the correct functioning of the tester is necessary. The unit is also useful for problem-solving of flight control, pressurization and autopilot control systems.

Considering this equipment, when you use this to solve problems you would like to have the unit in the cabin while the tests are being done. The pivot tester involves numerous test hose segments to reach the static port, but direct observation of the aircraft's indications for comparison is preferred.

• Sometimes the automatic modes can’t work properly, and so for that still prefer to go with the RVSM modes of the digital testers.
• Don't try to replace the data because it is very expensive to replace the data in the tester.
• If you are not completely familiar with an automatic test unit, do not use it.
• It leaks sometimes, so cannot be verified with the test configuration or the aircraft. For that cover the associated parts.
• When you are observing the airspeed indicators in the cabin, apply pressure to simulate a rapid ascent of the speed.

2. Data Acquisition Tool

Data acquisition means to collect the signals from measurement sources and then digitizing the signals for storage, analysis and presentation on a PC.

The acquisition of data starts with the physical phenomenon to be measured. This could be anything like,- the temperature of a room,- the pressure inside a chamber, -the intensity of a light source,-the force applied to an object or many other things.

How Data Acquisition Is Useful To Convert Analogue Signal To Digital?

Whenever you have properties or physical data to measure and then you want to convert into some kind of uniform form that can be analysed, it is called a Data Acquisition.

The data acquisition equipment is designed to convert signals from the physical world into a language that computers understand so that they can then perform various mathematical calculations, provided that the software used provides that output.
Generally, the acquisition of data means acquiring data. However, in computer terminology,
Data acquisition is defined as the process of joining real-world data to produce the data to be manipulated by the computer system.

The signals are obtained using different devices and. Instruments. The acquired data can be stored in the computer using the software provided by the supplier and the control can be done through the use of programming languages.

Most of the computers we think about today are strictly digital, but the first computers in the last century were analogue, so most of us are not familiar with analogue waveforms in any way
Data loggers are significantly different from data acquisition systems, however, in context, both are used interchangeably to some extent. It should be noted that a data logger is a subset of acquisition systems, and all data loggers can be referred that systems, but not the other way around.
