"It happened while I was working as a landscaper in Lewiston,Idaho, sometime in 1984 or 1985. We were actually in Clarkston, Washington building a rock retaining wall when it happened. It went through all three of us, but was a minor strike as it only left a small mark on my big toe and shoe where it left me and hit our supervisor, Doug Peterson. We quit working after that, and later learned that the same storm killed some cows on the Lewiston side of the Snake River."
