I brought cheap tickets to go water zorbing because there was a one day deal and it was also my friends birthday... it was about £10 each, it usually costs a lot more than that.

I have been looking forward to doing a zorb with water for the last ten years.

To be honest though, it was horrible. I had trouble getting into the ball which was actually quite funny, then me and my friend were sitting in this freezing cold water saying how relaxing it was and we were pushed down this huge hill. It was fun for about a second, then I started to have trouble breathing and for a full minute I could feel myself choking and gasping for air and I kept thinking I was going to vomit or throw up. I felt sorry for my friend because she was in the same ball so she could have ended up with my filth all over her. Luckily the nausia passed as soon as the ride was over, but I would never go water zorbing/aqua spearing again. It was a terrible experiance for me, and I'm quite disappointed because I was really excited about it.

I did a harnessed zorb ride without water when I was 11, and I can't praise it highly enough. Maybe it was better because there was less sliding around or because I was about five inches shorter but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

My friend really enjoyed the aqua spearing, so I would say if you're okay with the chance of throwing up and can hold your breath for a minute, you should be fine. I didn't expect to get any kind of motion sickness but I guess you can't always predict these things.
