Story And Details

I met my best friend from high school, Monica Khoury, the end of September for a 2 week trip to Peru. We spent one week in the capital, Lima. Ate amazing food, stayed with our friend's grandparents who were great hosts, then we flew to Cusco to start our 4 day hike to Manchu Pichhu. Cusco's elevation is 10,000ft above sea level. I was sick my first night there due to such a huge change in elevation. We drank Coca Tea that helps with elevation sickness. Our hiking group consisted on us + 6 girls from Argentina a guy from Netherlands and a couple from Spain. I love Empanatas (spelled wrong) and Seviche (that are both peruvian dishes).

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and something I will never forget. I highly recommend that you experience this NEW wonder of the world. Its worth it.

OH...and the day we arrived at the Manchu Picchu Sanctuary, my older sister had my beautiful baby nephew Brady! He was over 2 weeks early.
