Have long-lasting friendships with my immediate family

"The whole family has been on thin ice with each other since before I was born. Hell, I've gotten myself stuck right in the middle of our issues sometimes. But they are my family and I'd like to stick by their sides no matter what. I haven't always done what's best for all of us, and been a little selfish. Now I'm an adult I think it's time to put such behaviour in the past where it belongs."
